The design comes back from Tedooo's design technology, the same engine behind every made-to-order piece on the marketplace.
We set it
A machine has never touched the panel. Our artisans cut, set, grout and seal every piece in our US studio, and the design is checked against your photograph before we start.
The photograph stays yours
It is used to draw your piece and nothing else: not resold, not published, not used to train anything. It is deleted when the order closes.

If yours is not here, write to us. A person answers, usually within the day, and usually with more detail than you wanted.
What makes a good photo to upload?
One subject, roughly facing the camera, with their eyes visible. Daylight helps. It does not need to be sharp; most of what we work from is a phone photo of a dog on a sofa. What we cannot work from is a subject facing away, or three dogs at once in one panel.
Is it printed or is it mosaic?
Mosaic. Glass smalti and glazed ceramic, cut and set by hand, then grouted. There is no print, no resin and no vinyl anywhere in it, which is why it weighs what it weighs.
When do I pay?
At the end, once you have approved a design. Designing is free, you can run it as many times as you like, and there is no account to make first. You check out through Tedooo. Because the piece is then made for you, it is not returnable, which is exactly why the approving happens first.
